When Anthony & Lucy booked their wedding with me I was already booked for their day so Sue was to do their wedding pictures. What I didn’t know at the time was my wedding was so early that I was finished and was able to get over to Walshaw to help with most of their wedding pictures too.

St Osmunds Church, Breightmet was the setting for the wedding service and then a short drive to The Bolholt Hotel in Walshaw when most of the pictures were to be taken. Everybody was having a great time in the sun and this included Sadie & Alfie who never stopped for a moment. With 77 guests its nice that we can spend time and almost get to know everybody during the wedding day.

As we left the Bolholt Hotel the reception was in full swing and it looked like a good time was going to be had by all.

I was greeted in the morning at Michelle & Philips house by a Dulux dog wearing a bow tie !! The dog wasnt allowed to go to the wedding but they couldnt let the day go by without letting the dog dress up too. I finished the shots there and then met Philip at St Thomas Church, Halliwell, again I was greeted with something unusual – Top Hat !! Its been years since I had top hats at a wedding. I think its finishes of the grooms uniform and it gives us as photographers loads of picture opportunities.

The service went without a hitch and we then made our way to The last Drop Village in Bolton for the reception. We had to rush the family pictures a little bit as the clouds were gathering and rain looked on the way. We did manage to get all the pictures in the dry and I left Michelle and Phil with their guests who all looked like they were going to have a great night together.

Another scorcher !!! It sooo makes our job easier when we don’t have to worry about the weather.

I met Siobhan at the house and was greeted by a very peaceful scene. All seemed under control and running to time.

Our Lady of Lourdes, Farnworth was the setting for the service and when I turned up the guys were ready to go. Martin didn’t seem nervous at all until Siobhan arrived in the car. It always seems to be this point when the grooms face changes !!!

It was a lovely service and we all then set off for The Last Drop Village in Bromley Cross. They had selected a room called the Demdyke suite which looked stunning and was the perfect room for their wedding breakfast,

The Last Drop Village Bolton was the setting for Adam & Ruth’s wedding on the 1st May. Luckily the weather has been kind to us recently and we were greeted with a glorious sunny day.  I met Ruth in her room and was surprised to find how calm and peaceful it all was and to my surprise that didn’t change throughout the day. A sunny day definitely transforms a wedding and this was no exception. I t was lovely to see guests eating canapés on the lawn enjoying a glass of champagne. A lovely day was had by all and the Last Drop Village looked after us as usual. I hope the honeymoon in Jamaca was equally relaxing and see you when you come home.
