Yvonne & Deon were married at Canon Lewis Hall in Greenmount. It was the churches first ever wedding and it was great that the first wedding was going to be for a couple that had travelled all the way from New Zealand to be married there. Deon & Yvonne had a great day and it looked like the family that had made the long journey all had fun in the sun.

St Bernadette’s Church, Whitefield was the setting for Graham & Clare’s wedding and the weather almost looked like it was going to be OK. I started the day at Clare’s house where everything seemed very calm and collected. I met the guys at the church and still the weather held fine as the guests arrived at St Bernadette’s.
Clare was on time and the service was lovely. After the service we got all the family pictures done at the church and I then coaxed Graham & Clare to Worsley canal for some extra pictures. i got the feeling they both didn’t really want to go at the weather was getting steadily worse but I stood firm and I hope the results show it was a good call.
We arrived at Worsley Marriott and got all the guests out front for a group pic, that was the moment ….. the heavens opened on us !!! Thanks top all the guests to braved the rain to get the pictures we wanted. Graham & Clare then released two white doves before they started their wedding breakfast.

Another perfect spring day !!!!
Kilts were the order of the day for Ian & Victoria’s wedding at Edenfield Parish Church. Its nice not having to worry about the weather and the grounds of the church looked stunning, a carpet of daffodils.
I met Ian and his best man and ushers at the church and by the mood of the guys it felt like we were going to have a great day !!
Victoria arrived with her 2 sisters and Libby the little flower girl and we managed to get loads of lovely shots before the service started. After the service me spent time in the church grounds with the guests before heading of to the beautiful Red Hall Hotel for the wedding breakfast and reception.
As I left the party was in full swing.
I hope you had a wonderful evening and have a great honeymoon in Abu Dhabi

One of my local venues was the setting for Mark & Justines wedding on the 2nd October. I met Justine at her home and was amazed at how calm and controled the atmosphere was at the house.
I met the guys in the bar at The Last Drop village and was pleased to see kilts for a change. The weather was OK and with under 50 guests the atmosphere of the wedding was very personal one. The Last Drop is a stunning venue and always gives us plenty of opportunities for great photographs. Mark and Justine were up for anything and we had a really good time wandering round the gardens.
Their reception was in the Demdyke suite at the hotel and the room looked perfect as usual.
Have a great time in Cuba and give me a ring when you get back.

I seem to have lived at the Bolholt Hotel recently but at least you get to know all the nooks and crannies to use. Mark & Melissa were married in the Summerfield suite and were surrounded by their friends and family. I dont think I have had a much bigger Bridal Party in all my years of weddings, 1 Best Man, 5 Bridesmaids, 7 Ushers and 2 pageboys kept me on my feet all day but allowed me to get some great images. The Summerfield Suite only holds around 60 guests so I know that weddings there are going to be and intimate affair. Everybody was great and even though the heavens opened on us we managed to use the many places at The Bolholt were we could get some cover. The guests were looking at us as if we were crazy but it was worth it.
I hope you have a great evening and a good time in Florence. See you in a couple of weeks.

This was wedding I had looking forward to for a while as I knew lots of my friends would part of Adam & Andreas big day. A nice overcast day greeted us at St Annes Church, Chappeltown and for once I wasn’t worried about the rain. A wedding is only as good as its guests and it was a pleasure to deal with a fantastic bunch of family and friends who all made the day extra special for the new Mr & Mrs Settle. For once I managed to get back and enjoy the night-time festivities and it was obvious from the people there that a memorable time was had by all.

Finally a perfect day for wedding photography, no rain and nice and cloudy. John and Sandra were married at Ainsworth Parish Church and then went to The Summerfield Suite at The Bolholt Hotel, Walshaw. A great touch was the involvement of Sandra & Johns children as bridesmaids and ushers, it really made the day extra special for them and Im sure it kept the more relaxed during the day. I hope you both have a great time in Ibiza, see you in a couple of weeks.

The Last Drop Village Bolton was the setting for Adam & Ruth’s wedding on the 1st May. Luckily the weather has been kind to us recently and we were greeted with a glorious sunny day. I met Ruth in her room and was surprised to find how calm and peaceful it all was and to my surprise that didn’t change throughout the day. A sunny day definitely transforms a wedding and this was no exception. I t was lovely to see guests eating canapés on the lawn enjoying a glass of champagne. A lovely day was had by all and the Last Drop Village looked after us as usual. I hope the honeymoon in Jamaca was equally relaxing and see you when you come home.
