One of my last few weddings before Christmas and I was hoping the weather would look after us. Luckily we had a perfect day for photography.
I met Jennifer at mum and dads house in Ashton and it was lovely to be greeted by familiar faces. I had been the photographer at one of Jenny’s bridesmaids weddings previously which always seems to set the day off nice and relaxed. Jenny’s mum and dads was the picture of peace and quiet and all seemed to be running to plan. This was especially surprising as it wasn’t just Jenny’s wedding day but her 30th birthday too – Happy Birthday Jenny !!!
After leaving the house I met the guys at St Johns Hurst and then it dawned on me what I was about to do. I had been asked to take pictures from the balcony in church “Yes no problem, I do that every week” was my obvious reply. At this point it was then mentioned that it was a mezzanine floor that want built to be walked on and the planner had mentioned that it possibly wasn’t safe f0r people to walk on. I also had to balance along thin strips of wood to get to a decent vantage point. All in a days work !!!!! To be fair I didn’t spend too long taking those pictures – I hope you like what I got though….
The rain held off and we managed to get loads of pictures done before the light went and we made our way to Smokies Hotel in Bardsley. The room looked stunning and im sure you were going to have a blast.
Have a great time in Cuba and see you when you get back ….
Amazing pictures…just stunning! It was great to see you again Martin. I have no doubt that Jenny and Scott will be as impressed with their wedding album as we were with ours, we look back at ours regularly, it’s our most treasured possession! Thanks again, the Barlows x
Really nice images Martin. Love the first one especially.
